Students and staff celebrated Character Day this year both in their classrooms and outdoors!
Students spent the morning leraning about character and putting positive character traits inot action! One example was in Mrs. James' classroom. Grade 5 students took the Marshmallow Challenge which took GRIT, teamwork, and creativity to new heights!
In the afternoon staff and students ventured to the football field. Here we took a whole school picture spelling out NWCS! We are proud Wildcats who worked together to show our school spirit!
We spent the last of our Character Day taking part in our Terry Fox run/walk! We participated in this walk to show our support for the Terry Fox FGoundation, while recognizing the inspiring character traits tha tTerry embodies.
I am excited to share even more examples of Wildcat Character as this school year continues. Way to Go Wildcats!
