Our goal at North West Central School is to strive for excellence and independence in a positive and supportive environment to promote lifelong learning.

North West Central School

North West Central School is a K-12 school located in Plenty, Saskatchewan.  We have close to 200 students who come from the communities of Plenty, Dodsland, Ruthilda, Stranraer and Kelfield.  We have seven bus routes to transport students.
We have a strong academic program, with our teachers teaching all of our maths, sciences, English language arts and history core subjects.  Students can expand their elective courses by accessing the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre in addition to the ones offered at NWCS.
Our extracurricular sports include football, volleyball, cross-country, badminton, curling, and track and field.  Other activities include a strong Student Leadership Council, a yearbook club, a garden club and a baking club.
NWCS SCC is very active in our school, support teachers and students in a variety of ways.  Some of these include guest speakers, a winter dance, muffins for students, and an Amazing Race Day.
NWCS staff are supportive of all students and we work with our parents to ensure academic and social success!
